Use of Google Business Profile Data
Last updated: June 29, 2026
This page clearly and transparently describes how OmniA Reply access, use and protect the data obtained through the Google Business Profile API.
What Google data do we access?
- Reviews published on your Google Business Profile locations.
- Ratings (1 to 5 stars) for each review.
- Name of the review author.
- Publication date of each review.
- Existing responses to reviews.
- Basic information about your locations (name, address, ID).
What do we use that data for?
- Show reviews: We present the reviews in your OmniA Reply panel so you can easily manage them.
- Sentiment analysis: We process the text of each review to classify it as positive, negative, or neutral.
- Generating responses: We use AI to automatically suggest or post personalized responses to each review.
- Ticket creation: We convert negative reviews into support tickets for your team to follow up on.
- Synchronization with HubSpot: If you connect HubSpot, we create contacts and tickets in your CRM with the review information.
How do we access the data?
We access the data through OAuth 2.0, Google's authorization standard. The user explicitly grants access by logging in with their Google account and accepting the requested permissions. We never store Google passwords.
What permits do we need?
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage— to read and respond to Google Business Profile reviews.profileye-mail— to identify the user on our platform.
Do we share Google data with third parties?
We do not sell or share Google data with third parties. The only cases in which data may be processed by third parties are:
- DeepSeek AI: The text of the reviews is sent to generate automated responses. No personally identifiable information about the author is sent.
- HubSpot: only if the user decides to connect their HubSpot account and exclusively with the data that the user authorizes.
How can I revoke access?
You can revoke OmniA Reply's access to your Google account at any time from myaccount.google.com/permissions. You can also delete your account from your OmniA Reply dashboard.
Compliance with Google policies
OmniA Reply complies with Google Business Profile API Policies and with the Google Terms of Service. We use the data solely and exclusively for the purposes described on this page.
